it is said that music is an art of balance, where the impact of a single note can push you higher or throw you down. out of the dark and into the light, riding that razor’s edge is mineseye.

the path to mineseye started with a chance meeting between agnes (vox), matt (guitars+vox) and rob (drums+vox) in late 2004. agnes wasn’t finding satisfaction in session work, and matt and rob, hearing someone with far more potential than she was given the chance to show, suggested a collaboration.

it didn’t take long for the three to realize that there was an undeniable chemistry of musical possibility forming between them. with the addition of michael (bass+synths) in 2005, the puzzle was completed. the doors had opened to the music that they felt resonating inside of them. the unprecedented sound of mineseye.

that sound is found in the collection of songs that showcase the band's sound: from dark (eye) to light (fallen); from hard (sliced) to velvet (back words); from groovy (change for me) to crushing (soldier); it is powerful music that finds its brand of alternative rock in the synthesis of all that its members have to contribute.

While 2007 saw the departure of original member rob, mineseye is dedicated to breaking new ground in 2008, with the addition of new drummer daniel, the band will be bringing their fierce and aggressive stage presence and high energy performances to new audiences everywhere.
